Can I bring my car, motorcycle, moped or motor scooter?

Coast Guard regulations do not allow us to transport engine powered vehicles or gasoline. Our ferries are not equipped to handle automobiles.

Can I bring my bicycle and is there a charge for that?

We do transport bicycles. Charges are listed on our Schedule & Fares page. Please include the bicycle in your reservation.

Are dogs allowed aboard?

Yes, we love dogs and they are allowed aboard at no additional charge. They are required, however, to have a leash.

Do I need a reservation?

Yes, although we do sell tickets to walk-up customers we can not promise that we will have seats available unless you have a reservation.

I made an online reservation. Where do I pick up my tickets? And do I need to pick up tickets?

At the ticket office on the day of your cruise. And yes, you must pick up your tickets at least 10 minutes before sailing time or they may be released to passengers on the waiting list.

Are there tickets available on ... ?

Click here to go to our reservation system and check. You will be informed if a trip is full before you are asked to supply any personal or credit card information. If you get all the way through to the point where we ask for your name then you can be sure that the number of tickets you have requested are still available for the trip or trips you have selected.

Is there any automobile ferry service to Provincetown?

No, the docks and piers in Provincetown can not accommodate automobile ferries.

Is there public transportation from the airport to the dock in Boston?

Is the Boston to Provincetown ferry service wheelchair accessible?

Our vessels are wheelchair accessible on both the Boston and Provincetown docks. You may require the assistance of our crew to go up and down the gangways depending upon the tide. Our high speed ferry has wheelchair accesible restrooms, our excursion service aboard the Provincetown II (which is a much older vessel) does not.

We are pleased to host passengers with wheel chairs quite frequently.

Is overnight parking available near your Boston docks? Could I park there for several days?

The surface lots near our pier, though inexpensive, have proven themselves to be fairly arbitrary as to whether they allow overnight parking. Hundreds or our passengers have no problem while a few sometimes alert us to an abrupt parking lot employee notifying them that they may not park overnight. However, there are three very large, very cheap surface lots to choose from right next to our pier and the odds that all the attendants will be abrupt on the same day are probably slim.

The underground lot across the street from us is very dependable in permitting overnight parking, but is pricey.
